How to reconnect HubSpot

Reconnect HubSpot when Rankley needs updated permissions or your connection needs to be refreshed.

Overview

Sometimes Rankley may ask you to reconnect HubSpot.

This usually happens when:

  • Rankley adds new HubSpot integration features

  • New permissions are required

  • The current HubSpot connection is missing a required permission

  • Your HubSpot connection needs to be refreshed

Reconnecting HubSpot does not mean something is wrong. It is a normal part of approving updated app permissions.

When you may see a reconnect prompt

You may see a reconnect prompt in Rankley when your current HubSpot connection does not include all permissions needed for the latest HubSpot sync features.

The prompt may say that HubSpot needs to be reconnected to finish enabling Rankley’s latest CRM sync features.

How to reconnect HubSpot

  1. Log in to Rankley.

  2. Open Agency Settings.

  3. Go to Integrations.

  4. Select HubSpot.

  5. Look for a reconnect banner or warning.

  6. Click Reconnect HubSpot.

  7. You will be redirected to HubSpot.

  8. Review and approve the updated permissions.

  9. Return to Rankley.

  10. Confirm the HubSpot connection is active.

What happens after reconnecting

After reconnecting, Rankley updates the HubSpot connection for your agency account.

This allows Rankley to continue syncing supported audit activity to HubSpot.

Will reconnecting duplicate my HubSpot connection?

No. Rankley is designed to update the existing HubSpot connection for your portal instead of creating a duplicate connection.

Will reconnecting delete existing HubSpot activity?

No. Reconnecting does not delete historical HubSpot activity that was already written to HubSpot.

What if reconnect fails?

If reconnect fails:

  1. Confirm you are logged into the correct HubSpot account.

  2. Confirm you have permission to connect apps in HubSpot.

  3. Try reconnecting again from Rankley.

  4. Contact Rankley support if the issue continues.

Do I need to reconnect for every new audit?

No. Reconnect is only needed when permissions need to be refreshed or updated.

Once HubSpot is connected with the required permissions, normal audit sync activity can continue automatically.
