How to connect Rankley to HubSpot

Connect HubSpot to Rankley so AI Visibility audit activity can be recorded in your CRM.

Overview

The Rankley HubSpot integration helps agencies bring AI Visibility audit activity into HubSpot so sales teams can follow up with more context.

Once connected, Rankley can record audit activity on HubSpot contact records, including audit scores, status, recommendations, and a link to the full Rankley report.

Before you begin

You will need:

  • A Rankley agency account

  • Access to the Rankley Integrations area

  • A HubSpot account with permission to connect apps

  • HubSpot access for the account you want to connect

If you are not sure whether you have the correct HubSpot permissions, ask your HubSpot account administrator.

Connect HubSpot to Rankley

  1. Log in to Rankley.

  2. Open Agency Settings.

  3. Go to Integrations.

  4. Select HubSpot.

  5. Click Connect HubSpot.

  6. You will be redirected to HubSpot.

  7. Choose the HubSpot account you want to connect.

  8. Review and approve the requested permissions.

  9. After approval, you will be redirected back to Rankley.

  10. Confirm that HubSpot shows as connected.

What happens after connecting

After HubSpot is connected, Rankley can sync supported AI Visibility audit activity back to HubSpot when your widget and integration settings are enabled.

This may include:

  • Audit activity on the matching HubSpot contact

  • AI Visibility score and status

  • Top recommendations

  • A link to the full Rankley audit report

Reconnecting HubSpot

If Rankley adds new HubSpot features later, your account may need to reconnect HubSpot to approve updated permissions.

When this happens, Rankley may show a reconnect prompt in the Integrations area.

Disconnecting HubSpot

You can disconnect HubSpot from Rankley from the Integrations area at any time.

Disconnecting HubSpot stops new HubSpot sync activity from Rankley, but it does not automatically remove historical activity that was already written to HubSpot.

Troubleshooting

I do not see HubSpot as connected

Try reconnecting HubSpot from the Rankley Integrations area. Also confirm that you approved the connection in the correct HubSpot account.

I connected HubSpot, but I do not see audit activity

Confirm that:

  • The AI Visibility widget is enabled

  • HubSpot tracking/sync is enabled for the widget

  • The submitted email or HubSpot context can match a contact

  • The audit completed successfully

I see a reconnect prompt

A reconnect prompt usually means Rankley needs updated HubSpot permissions to support newer integration features. Click Reconnect HubSpot and approve the updated permissions.
