Troubleshooting the Rankley AI Assistant

Fix common issues with Rankley’s AI Assistant, including account setup, data sources, and response errors.

Why you might see issues

Most problems with the Rankley AI Assistant come from one of these areas:

  • You’re not in the correct account (AI pulls data from the active account only).

  • Missing or disconnected data sources (e.g., Google Analytics, GSC, GBP).

  • Asking a question that’s too broad or vague.

  • Temporary system or connectivity issues.


✅ Quick fixes to try

  1. Check your account

    • Make sure you’ve selected the correct account in Rankley before using the AI Assistant.

    • If you have multiple accounts, switch to the one you want insights for. The AI only analyzes data from the active account.

  2. Check your connections

    • Ensure your Google Analytics, Search Console, and Google Business Profile are connected and authorized in your Rankley settings.

  3. Refine your question

    • Instead of “keywords”, try “Top keywords in Dallas last 30 days.”

    • The more specific you are, the better the AI can pull insights.

  4. Refresh or try again

    • If the assistant doesn’t respond, refresh your dashboard and try again after a few minutes.
